Yesterday evening, Anthony Senecal, Donald Trump’s longtime butler, went on a racist rant on Facebook, encouraging people to go out and vote because America had been taken over by “our pus headed ‘president'” and needed a leadership change.
Both Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, and his son, Eric, are Facebook friends with Senecal.
Senecal was famously profiled by The New York Times in March, where he was presented as a loyal servant who only slightly dabbled in the bigotry that has fueled Trump’s presidential campaign. “Mr. Senecal, with horn-rimmed glasses, a walrus mustache and a white pocket kerchief in his black jacket, seems to reflect his boss’s worldview: He worries about attacks by Islamic terrorists and is critical of Mr. Trump’s ex-wives,” wrote Jason Horowitz.
What the Times profile didn’t reveal is that Senecal has a prolific Facebook presence, which he uses to attack anything and everything related to the Obama administration, frequently dipping into wild conspiracy theories. In several posts, he calls President Obama “the asswipe I call zero” and a “Muzzie,” a derogatory term for Muslim. But this post takes the cake:
To all my friends on FB, just a short note to you on our pus headed “president” !!!! This character who I refer to as zero (0) should have been taken out by our military and shot as an enemy agent in his first term !!!!! Instead he still remains in office doing every thing he can to gut the America we all know and love !!!!! Now comes Donald J Trump to put an end to the corruption in government !!!! The so called elite, who are nothing but common dog turds from your front lawn are shaking in their boots because there is a new Sheriff coming to town, and the end to their corruption of the American people (YOU) is at hand !!!! I cannot believe that a common murder is even allowed to run (killery clinton) OR that a commie like bernie is a also allowed to also run !!!! Come on America put your big boy pants on—this election you have a choice—GET YOUR ASS OUT AND VOTE !!!! Thank you !!!!
He has quite the following, too. Beneath each of his posts, commenters called for the president to be hung, executed, or deported “back to where they came from.” Senecal is also Facebook friends with Roger Stone, Don Imus, and right-wing journalist Ronald Kessler.
